Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. In AT&T commercials she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into 2020. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play the character in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also is a Jew. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Because of her family's financial difficulties the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out in her sophomore year. She obtained a GED and then went to complete an Associate of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
